Dr. David Bassir is a professor of structural mechanics and the director of the SSHMC Lab. He earned his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Paris-Saclay in 2008. His contributions span areas like structural health monitoring, smart materials, and sustainable engineering systems. As a member of esteemed organizations such as ASME, IEEE, and SPIE, he actively collaborates with academia and industry to innovate solutions in structural mechanics and smart manufacturing.
